RASHTRAPATI NIWAS: This heritage building of Shimla is located on the Observatory hill. It was originally the home of Lord Dufferin, the Viceroy of India. The lodge has got facilities for huge kitchen, laundry, boilers for central heating and running hot and cold water facility in the bathrooms. This lodge has also a library.
RAJ BHAWAN: This is situated at Chota Shimla and is resided by Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Previously it was known as the Barnes Court.
GAIETY THEATRE: This theatre is one of Shimla's oldest heritage building. This was also called the Amateur Dramatic club. Eminent theatrical personalities like Prithvi Raj Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Manohar Singh, Nasseerudin Shah and so on have performed on the stage of this age old heritage building of Shimla.
WOOD VILLE: This heritage site of Shimla is located in eastern Shimla. Now this building has been converted into a hotel named as Wood Ville Palace Hotel. This was originally the home of the commander-in-chief General Sir William Rose Mansfield.
CHRIST CHURCH: Christ Church is second oldest church in North India, and its a beautiful Shimla heritage site. This beautiful church has got extensive stained glass windows of the very old time period.
