KUFRI, a hill station, is also known for its good hiking and trekking trails. Basically, it is an adventure enthusiast's paradise. It is a tiny hill station in Himachal , located 16 kilometers from Shimla. Kufri's proximity to the hill station of Shimla makes it an important place to visit. Kufri is also famous for its nature parks and picnic spots. The best time to visit Kufri is in summers, between April and June. However, one may also the place between December and February to enjoy snowfall and skiing.

FAGU, Fagu which is 22 kilometers from and 6 kilometers from Kufri is an interesting picnic spot and amongst forest and orchards.

CHAIL, this place is the palace of the maharaja. Built on three hills, the palace is on Rajgarh Hill, while the Residency Snow View, which was occupied once upon a time by the British Resident, is on Pandhewa Hill. On the third hill, Sabba Tibba, is the township of Chail. The maharaja had planned this palace as a retreat, replete with all necessary things he'd need for relaxation, and therefore, he built hunting and fishing lodges, which are open to the public.

NARKANDA, At 9,000 feet among the dense woodlands of mixed tropical forests, surrounded by small villages and apple orchards lies Narkanda.
